Hi Rich Right now I'm on weather watch for a Haleakala summit trip w/ the 12.5. This is an observatory sized scope and will be transported up and then reassembled, we have medium heavy stratus and I'll call the Park at 3:50 and see how it looks. Usually though, it is clear above the 8000-9000' level when cloudy below, but it's the mid level drizzle I'm trying to find out about. We'll be a 9400' and when the new site is finished, we will be at 9800'. Cool clear and DARK and no traffic!! I'll let you know what happens. AND if anyone wants to come from UTAH to HAWAII(MAUI) to observe, just get in contact w/me and we'll plan a good time. The Southern Cross is a late Spring thing here, can't really see it now ...... Aloha Rob
