Pardon my ignorance, but what is this declaration about? --- Siegfried Jachmann <ziggy943@xmission.com> wrote:
All,
Below is the text of the instructions Ann received for the proclamation signing at the governors office. Please note the directions and allow yourself plenty of time. It looks like they are on a tight schedule. I suspect that we may or may not be up right at 2:00. There is probably a time frame where the Governor does a bunch of these and we will get our turn on short notice and have to be ready. I'm just guessing.
See you all there
Siegfried
Rob, I plan to leave about just before 1:00 from the house if you want a ride. Guy let me know if you change your mind. Chuck, out of sight... out of mind... great if you could make it.

Ann,
I just wanted to let you know that your declaration request has been approved. Although, I have not received your draft. Governor Huntsman will sign declarations on the March 24 at 2:00 p.m. We would be happy to have your organization attend. Your appointment will last approximately four to five minutes.
Please note that this event will take place at the new East State Capitol Complex building behind the State Capitol. If available, park in the parking lot East of the East building or parallel to Memory Grove park on East Capitol Blvd., on the East side of the capitol. At the entrance to the East building make your way through a dining area into a large foyer. From the foyer, walk up either side of the double staircase (an elevator is also available) to the second floor; we are located in suite 220, which is right at the top of the stairs.
We can only accommodate groups up to 20 people at the signing: it is essential that I know, as soon as possible, how many people will attend this event.
Some practical notes: --Arrive twenty minutes early. We cannot guarantee a photo-op if you are late. --Allow plenty of time for parking. Some parking spots may involve quite a bit of walking. Please make arrangements for elderly or physically impaired individuals in your organization. --Check in with the receptionist at E220 East State Capitol Complex building when you arrive. --Please designate who will accept the declaration.
Photography & Press: --Please do not bring cameras. We will have a photographer present. --Press is your responsibility. If you have planned on having press at this event, I need to know as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you.
