I no sooner stepped out my parent's front door in American Fork (which faces Mt. Timp to the East) to head home when the sky lit up with a fabulous bolide dropping over 30 degrees to fall behind Mt. Timpanogos. As it fell, it left a bluish-white 10-degree train, and began to fragment just before it disappeared behind the mountains, reminiscent of a falling firework, the fragments looked like trailing sparks. It appeared to be probably 3 times as luminous as venus. Fabulous sight, even my 87-y.o. dad with his macular degeneration was able to see it fall. Anyone else catch sight of it at 10:04 pm tonight?
