I want to try my hand at touching up applying a clear coat, but I want to experiment on an old beater playfield before I do it with one of my own games. Does anybody have a beater playfield that they'd offer up for cheap (or free)? Anybody know where I could get one?
I probably have one or two... I'll look this weekend... ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeff To: UtVgG Sent: Monday, July 20, 2009 4:02 PM Subject: [UtVgG] Anybody have any trashed pinball playfields? I have an Ice Cold Beer playfield that was *sniff* damaged by water in my old warehouse. I'd be more than happy to donate it to a better cause.
Yeah, that would work. If the damage isn't too bad maybe I can revive it. Most of the art is on the glass for that game. I think there's only like 2-3 colors on the playfield. If you're willing to let me try, I'll give it a shot. I wonder if a clear coat would alter the gameplay of that game any. On Tue, Jul 21, 2009 at 8:15 AM, Pete Ashdown <pashdown@xmission.com> wrote:
