Does anybody have a dedicated Mortal Kombat that they'd like to part with? Not a conversion. I'm looking for a dedicated cabinet with the original artwork intact. Oh, doesn't have to be working. Only thing that matters is that the artwork is in good/great shape. Thanks, Kurt kmahan@xmission.com
Anybody have a good source for these? Seems every monitor I get has it busted. I need 2 for G07's and 1 for a WG 4900. If I can pay less than $10 each + shipping (from Bob), I'd really like it. Mouser and Digikey return no hits for "width coil", and I don't know what makes a G07 coil different from a WG. Can anyone get out the clue stick and hit me with it? I've got a couple of extra G07 coils if you need immediate help. Other than that, try Zanen Electronics 806-829-2780 or http://www.arcadeshop.com/ jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sean McLachlan" <sean@lithoflexo.com> To: <utvgg@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2004 11:28 AM Subject: [UtVgG] Source for H width coils?

More often than not, these can be repaired using high-temp epoxy (regular epoxy also works, but will break down over the years w/ the increased heat). Make sure the coil is straight, goop some epoxy around the external coils (but don't glue it to the PCB so that you can still remove it if necessary), and let it cure.

Thanks Bret. I have one that may be salvageable, but a couple of them have the ferrite core cracked. I hear grinding sounds when I turn it and the core won't turn anymore. FWIW, Bob Roberts is the cheapest on coils at $10 that I can find, most other arcade repair places want $12. Still can't find them at Mouser/Digikey/insert electronics website here. Sean
