As I've been trolling rgvgc, I saw that California Extreme was being mentioned. I went to the website and found that it's in August. So I'm now mulling over trying to get vacation time for this (which also depends on if I relocate to Utah.. ;) ) And I was wondering if any of you have gone? If so, how was it? Were there any games to be bought? Any info would be appreciated. -- Everything always works in your HQ, everything always fails in the Colonel's HQ -- Murphy's Military Laws n°30 Chris Hardy (chris@hardys.org or support@mission.net)

I've gone for the past three years. The past two, I brought games to be shown and brought a few home. The prices on games at CAX are almost always good. It was very hard for me not to drag home that $500 broken Firefox cockpit last year. It's also a good way to ship things back from where they are plentiful and cheap. Most sellers are amicable to waiting for pickup as long as they get payment right away. I don't know when it is this year, but last year it was in July.
It's Aug 7-8. I think I'll see if I can go. It just amazes me how the East coast gets Auctions galore, the West coast has the CA, and the middle of the nation gets bupkiss. ;I Maybe I ought to relocate to NJ for a few years. On Fri, 23 Jan 2004, Pete Ashdown wrote:
