Doors at 7pm. Hope you can make it. Maybe you can help marshal local interest by getting the word out to local collectors and others whom you think might be interested in checking it out? Oh, and the movie is also now available on Blu-ray/DVD: www.thespaceinvaders.org <http://www.thespaceinvaders.org> I think there is only one shot of you in the film playing your Demon cabinet in the X-Mission lobby. Also a few shots of your games, one from the basement and one from the warehouse. Anyway, if you get a chance to see it would be happy to hear what you think? Thanks again, Jeff
I saw you get a credit at the end, but never spotted you. I must have blinked. This weekend I'm going to poke my head around a warehouse in Orem that a friend of mine found. It's probably nothing, but you never know. Anyone looking for anything specific? Centipede cabinet with decent sideart. I was going to buy an overpriced (complete) one that has been in Fairview forever, but somebody actually beat me to it. -Chris
I am surprised that finally sold. Did it work? The guy seemed pretty stuck on his $750 price, and one set of pics seemed to show some damage and a repaint attempt near the CP. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Maybe it can be a present for your upcoming 4th anniversary. (I had to look it up in my mail archive, my memory isn't that good) . He had dropped it to $450. I tested it about a year ago, I was going to show up and offer $300-$350 cash-in-hand. All I care about is a nice cabinet. -Chris

I should add, I'm going to fix-up the subpar cabinet I have now and sell it to help pay for the project. On 07/23/2013 03:34 PM, Sean McLachlan wrote:

Hahaha. I did finally get my dowry Missile Command working and had it running for the gaming studio launch party. I was looking through the wedding pictures recently. Here Carole is adjusting Peter Packrat's flag that declares I get to keep my arcade games, despite getting married. http://www.castrovalva.com/carole_adjusting_peters_sign.jpg The little bits of that cake I got were tasty. Every time I put my plate down for a photo, a well-meaning person would come and take it away. -Chris

Yeah, I haven't watched it yet because I'm vain that way and a friend gave me a similar report. The director came out and took up most of my day then cut me out. Alas.
<Yeah, I haven't watched it yet > Honestly, you didn't miss much. They dug up some footage out of some manufactures I had never seen before, but the interviews with the collectors... let's just say that if that's how I come across when I talk to people about the hobby I can see why they tune out and never bring up the subject again. I think the director did you a favor if he left you out of that crowd. In other news, the warehouse had 0 Centipedes. Sorry Chris. Thanks. I'll keep looking. I'm upset because my sideart was damaged after purchase (somebody decided to try peeling it from the cabinet, and it worked). I've considered buying the Phoenix repro sideart, but it's not from the Atari films, so I don't know if it is better or worse. Only the white area on mine is damaged. -Chris
