In my impatient search for a Punch-Out I'm considering shipping in a game.
How's this sound? Am I best to wait out the local market? The deal I'm
getting from the guy is $600 with shipping included from New Jersey.
Now, it's 100% functional, but the joystick is sloppy and the monitors both
need to be capped. I'd probably also toss in new art, but it's not
necessary. I figure I'd be around $700 total to have a new looking machine
that plays well. The upside is that I'll have it now and I don't need to
keep waiting out the local scene, but the downside is that I feel like I
could get one for around $500 with a bit more patience.
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Oh, and there's also the factor that my firstborn is due April 28th, so
coming by the extra money after that point will be a bit harder as our days
of a dual-income family will be ending.
