Project Pac?

But first, I have to tell you guys about this unbelievable experience I had today. I put a help wanted ad in the paper last weekend for my fledgling company. Got several resumes over the weekend, and one in particular sounded like an OK guy. Decided to Google him; got nothing on his name. When I googled his email on the newsgroups, however, I found he had regularly posted to alt.drugs.hard requesting info on online pharmacies that will sell you "benzos" (whatever the hell those are), and complaining on how hard it is to get good heroin (!) in SLC. Seems Detroit, his past residence, is much better in that regard. He has also posted to alt.alien.visitors and a couple other paranormal groups because aliens are contacting him, his wife and a friend through patterns in the dust on his TV screen. I swear I am not making this up. At first, I thought it was a troll. But he has several long posts of his experiences, and has posted pictures of some of the dust. If it's a troll, it's the most sincere one I ever saw. I saved one of the pictures showing the "face of the extra terrestrial", and man, I can't see nothin'. Maybe the benzos help with that, I dunno. He also claims an IQ of 160, both in his resume and in a couple of his posts. Anyway, the real reason for the post: I have a cousin who has been bit by the video game bug, and of course he wants a Pac. I have most of the parts he will need, but no cab. Anyone have an empty *Pac cab in acceptable shape? The low end of acceptable is fine, he's willing to restore. Harness and PS included would be keen. Monitor repair in the area?

Has anyone used any of the operators or a TV shop to repair their monitors? I really dread recapping, replacing flybacks, and all that crap. If I could pay someone $50 to do it for me, I'd jump on it repeatedly.

Arcade documentary coming to KUED channel 7

Just a heads up about a 2 hour video game history documentary comin gup on channel 7 this Thurday at 8 pm. The films website actually has some neat photos and and an arcade quiz that was actually pretty hard albeit very obscure trivia. Heck you can even dload a destop theme with an icon of Ralph Baer the the creator of the Odyssey(very odd). You can check it out at the link below.
