True; saw it with my own eyes. I was down at a local op's place and he
asked me if I wanted to buy a slot machine. I said no, but he said come
look anyway. He had 4 of them on and we played a couple of times. Just on
tokens. The more I looked at one of them, the more it seemed familiar.
Finally I recognized the artwork. It was the characters from Cliff Hanger!
I asked where he got them and he said that in Japan they have to sell their
slots after 2 years use. (True? That sounds weird.) The writing was all
Japanese, so that didn't help, but he said they are only 2 years old, and
they look new.
Anybody heard of any other old video games coming back in other forms?
Was/is Cliff Hanger that popular in Japan?
