PANSTARRS Time-lapse Video
Here's a time-lapse video I put together of PANSTARRS setting over Cache Valley last night - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROEnG6hslYQ&hd=1 It turned out pretty cool, though is a bit shaky due to the strong wind and me accidentally leaving the VR feature of my lens on. I need a faster telephoto lens and more stable tripod to do this type of thing. Jared
I like it. Very cool. Very nice, Jared. Just one question - who fired the missle that just missed and passed through the tail? Seriuosly, I really like your time lapse. Beautiful Jared. I went out last night at what appeared to be a clear sky, only to have a slew of clouds suddenly appear and radiate to all parts of the sky from where the comet was supposed to be. I still have yet to see anything. ________________________________ From: Jared Smith <jared@smithplanet.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2013 8:25 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] PANSTARRS Time-lapse Video Here's a time-lapse video I put together of PANSTARRS setting over Cache Valley last night - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROEnG6hslYQ&hd=1 It turned out pretty cool, though is a bit shaky due to the strong wind and me accidentally leaving the VR feature of my lens on.
