"Just starting to think this project through. I will be making this
most likely next summer or the summer after that." I think I remember you saying this exact sentence 5 weeks before first light on the Dob. Do you remember it that way?
YES and that is all I am going to say about it. Mark, I'm having troubles with the S&T digital collection on my home computer (the dinosaur), so I'm willing to just loan you the set and let you search them for wood tube references. I can recall many having been published in S&T over the decades, so you'll have your homework cut out for you. You can keep them for a month if you like, just return them in pristine condition. I'm hoping to replace my computer in the next 3 or 4 weeks. They are DVD format so you'll need to be able to read DVDs on your machine. Let me know if this works for you, and we'll arrainge a meeting.
Thank you very much, Chuck they will be returned in original condition or I will replace them, how does that sound? This is a very nice offer from you. I will gard them with my life etc. etc. I returned to teaching and I go from Riverton to east sandy every day. I do not know where you are located so give me a place to meet. I can come to your place and pick them up. What ever works for you would be fine. Thanks again Mark ________________________________ From: Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, October 2, 2011 9:26 AM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Wood Tube Refractor Mark, I'm having troubles with the S&T digital collection on my home computer (the dinosaur), so I'm willing to just loan you the set and let you search them for wood tube references.
