At about 5:00am, Jupiter is visible rising over the eastern Wasatch. Although it's -2.1 mag is not much different from its average apparent magnitude throughout the year, it particularly attractive against the nautical twilight sky. It can be easily mistaken for Venus, which rises later in the morning. - Clear Skies - Kurt
