Re: last week's fireball (Joe Bauman)
Here's a bit more information on the meteorite. SUTTERS MILL seems to be the going name for it now, but not officially- yet. -Barrett (Yeah, I keep wanting to climb in the truck and go look for it!)
Seems to me I once read about a guy named Marshall who found a rock at Sutter's Mill about 150 years ago and it caused a real stink, including a mass migration of folk to northern California in search of their collective future. Could this rock have similar value? -- Thanx, *Ray *
The projected value of this meteorite is somewhere between $100-$1000 per gram.....Is that what you wanted to know? :) -Barrett -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Ray Druian Sent: Sunday, April 29, 2012 4:50 AM To: utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Utah-Astronomy Digest, Vol 110, Issue 116 Re: last week's fireball (Joe Bauman)
