I just picked up an Orion XT10D from a pawn shop.  After collimation I was able to get some really tight star images and the view of Jupiter was very sharp.  My home is not known for good seeing, but that night the XT10 performed admirable.  I did a Ronchi test on the mirror using Jupiter as the source and got perfectly straight lines across the whole mirror.  At 38X I was able to read a sign that was about 2-1/2 miles away.  I am very pleased with the performance of this scope.
