I saw it pass over St. George this a.m. (see my earlier post). Having never seen a reentry before, I am not sure if I saw anything out of the ordinary or not. But what I did see were some "puffs" of contrail that I supposed at the time were caused as it encountered uneven air at such a high elevation and speed. I am just sick. Barney B.

At 200,000 ft, I doubt there is much uneven air to deal with. I have sat stunned all morning. I put my flag out at half mast. With Rich, I hope this does not set us back for too long. We do, of course, have to determine the how and why. dm
