Steve, I've got a trash scope.  My niece found it at Deseret Industries for $25, fortunately she called me first and asked if it was a good buy.  Told her no way, jose, and went right down and bought, just for what you are planning.  Let's arrange a time and place for pick-up.  I would rather you don't take it apart, it a great example of what not to buy (and that includes some Meade trash scopes I've seen on the market some time back at Costco) Joan
