Went out to the observatory (the driveway) around 03:50 this morning before going to work and saw about 1 meteor every minute on average. I saw 10 or 12 in about a ten minute period. The woman who delivers the paper stopped and talked for a couple of minutes and we saw three. None were very bright. Dave
I watched from 5:00 to 5:40 AM this morning from my shop in North Salt Lake and saw 3. One was very bright but short, one was dim but very long and further from the radiant. The third was a point meteor almost on top of the radiant itself, but on the dim side. On Tue, Aug 13, 2013 at 4:07 AM, Dave Gary <davegary@me.com> wrote:

This morning I saw two dim, 4th-magnitude sporadics (direction of travel not in line with the Persied radiant) within two minutes of each other. No Perseids. Only watched for about 20 minutes.
