Re: [Utah-astronomy] Mosiac problem solved! See reprocessed comet view
Congrats, Joe, lookin' good. http://gallery.utahastronomy.com/v/Joeb/Holmes.jpg.html Now try the Rotational Gradient tool - http://www.cyanogen.com/help/maximdl/Rotational_Gradient.htm or the Rank Filter (radius 7, width 0.5) to try and bring out some detail in the central condensation. - Kurt _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net
You know, Kurt, I probably stretched the Holmes' contrast in a bad way, because the comet is too small on the left side compared with your view and another I saw. Either that or my way of aligning with the stars somehow shortened the comet when it moved. I'm going to try and re-reprocess my original images. Thanks for your great info, Joe On Nov 18, 2007, at 12:22 PM, Kurt Fisher wrote:
