Re: [Utah-astronomy] Bino-mount for sale
Hi Patrick, I'm interested. I'm hoping to eventually acquire binoculars to add to our observatory collection. Is the tripod included, or is it just the parallelogram mount? Thanks, Wayne A. Patrick Wiggins 08/22/11 9:15 PM >>> A while back I bought an Orion bino mount for a project that never materialized and I'm pretty sure never will.
Anyone interested in buying the mount? (It's literally never been used.) Info here: http://www.telescope.com/Binoculars/Binocular-Accessories/Orion-Paragon-Plus... With shipping I'm into it about $150. I'll take $100. patrick _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php
Hi Patrick I will take it for 100.00 if Wayne does not want it. Hi Mark and Wayne, I'm ferrying a plane to SLC International tomorrow and will be there from about 3:30 until 8:30 pm. Whichever of you would care to meet me there can have it. Just let me know so I'll know to bring it with me. As to your question Wayne, it's the mount only. No tripod. All: Here's hoping the weather where you are is better than the cloudy, windy, gloomy skies I just drove 5 hours to be under here at Bryce... :) patrick Sent from my iPad On Aug 23, 2011, at 9:01, Mark Shelton <woodturninginc@yahoo.com> wrote:

I can not make it. My wife is in the hospital. If Wayne does not get it I will get you the money and we can exchange the mount sometime at spoc. Well Patrick, sorry to hear about the weather. I saw the forecast for the weekend and about 30% chance for Thunderstorms. I wonder if new moon this year will ever be totally clear? On Tue, Aug 23, 2011 at 7:55 PM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:

Hi Jay, Just back from Bryce. Talk about weird, when I finished my program I walked outside into rain. But I could see stars low in the west. Star party was cancelled so I headed home only to find completely clear skies 20 minutes later just before I got to highway 89. Then clear all the way home. patrick On 23 Aug 2011, at 20:02, Jay Eads wrote:
