Hi Deb! I was just going to write you an email because I hadn't heard from you for such a long time. I'm glad you're going to Chicago, where I used to live as a little kid, but I would not recommend Adler Planetarium. On a fairly recent visit I found it pretty unimpressive. They have a collection of early astronomical instruments, which was nice, but other than that I thought it was a drag. You'd be much better off spending time in my favorite windy city haunt, the Art Institute of Chicago. Best wishes, Joe
