Not sure I believe this one but it is showing Wolf Creek as good to go for observing tonight until 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. http://www.cleardarksky.com/c/WlfCrOsUTkey.html?1 Anyone believe that? -- Jay Eads
I would believe after 3 a.m., weather man says the sky will rock and roll tonight, especially in the mountains.

The CSC shows below average transparency which is too bad, moisture looks high. I was hoping to do some imaging tonight. I'll watch it and see if it improves, I still may go for a visual night. Jay: I went out for a bike ride at 1:00 am last night. The cloud cover had thinned to what I would call 50 percent coverage. It takes half the night to disapate the clouds that are generated during the heat of the day. Also the water in the air column is up over an inch deep. This is very bad. It doesn't really start to get good until this water is down to a much less than half an inch.
