Isn't that the Windoze laptop he keeps in a plastic bag? It allows him to play computer games while he's getting some bottom time. :-) But seriously, here are some examples: http://www.sportextreme.com/pq209/ Patrick

Way to go Patrick, now you'll have to explain 'bottom time'. And keep it clean!
Good one. I needed a laugh like that. Well, I could say it has something to do with studying a certain blue-green planet out past Saturn but we're already pushing the envelope here so I'll just explain that Bottom Time is actually a bar on Palau (really). Patrick

That's OT Patrick, and I don't mean off topic, I mean 'Old Technology'. This -> http://www.oceanicworldwide.com/p_computers_proplus.html is the latest, greatest. This stuff is used in the underwater portion of NASA's Astronaut training program...
It's a small housing unit that contains a cluster of guages that keep track of your depth, time, air consumption, oxygen eposure, compass... You have to refer to from time to time during the dive and that retractor makes it slick! You really should get out more... ;) Just kidding. Quoting Michael Carnes <michaelcarnes@earthlink.net>:
