They are notorious for lighting up the sky. That Walmart distribution center near St. George lights up the sky like a Christmas tree. I can see the glow from LaVerkin, UT Debbie

Wall*Mart is planning a big warehouse north west of Grantsville with an estimated 600 truchks coming and going per day at startup.

From my experiences with construction projects of any size, we're already too late to make much of a difference for either WalMart's monstrosity or Larry Miller's. The developers have already cozied up to all the local authorities, who will be more than happy to sell their grandmother's souls to get "jobs" in the area and stay in their positions of responsibility. Ordinances will be violated, local property owners' rights ignored, and any efforts to thwart the developer's plans will be labeled as anti-jobs, anti-business, anti-development, anti-progress.
So, who wants to join me in the fight?
