Re: [Utah-astronomy] Re: 25x100 binos for sale
Hi Chuck, I believe they are from Orion, but I'll check them tonight to be sure. I really like them, and have wanted even more aperture for some time now. I measured my dark adapted pupils at 6 mm not too long ago, so I should be OK there. By the way, does the whole group receive these e-mails we've been exchanging? If not, I need to e-mail Patrick to let him know I want to buy them. One more question: I sent out an e-mail about pier mounting the 800 lbs. telescope that was donated to my High School, but the e-mail was apparently too large because of the picture I included of the telescope. Do you have any sources that discuss the sizing of telescope pier mounts? Thanks, Wayne A. Sounds like the eye relief is better than on my 20x80's.

As long as your messages go to utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com they will be seen by everyone subscribed to the list. For a list of subscribers see http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/roster/utah-astronomy

Most lists do not allow attachments of any kind as attachments are great ways for low lifes to spread viruses. I seem to remember something about Utah Astronomy allowing some attachments but not pictures. To post a picture you could use the list's gallery, http://www.utahastronomy.com . Or you can send it to me and I'll post it for a few days on my temporary files page.

You're welcome to come out and get some ideas from mine and/or have a look at pictures 108 to 138 at http://www.trilobyte.net/paw/slas/patrickw/PATRICKW03.HTML . pw
