One of those amazing whispy proms visible just now. Also had some good white-light views of the sunspots. Solar viewing is hot! Can you tell I just got the requisite gear! (Still can't quite believe my wife approved the Ha scope purchase.....) Very happy with the Lunt 80mm Ha and the Thousand Oaks white light film filter--although the rim of the filter holder seems to be exactly the same ID as the OD of the lens shade; supposed to just slide over it--no go. To try it out, I had to "laboriously" fabricate an adapter out of about 16" of electrical tape. Something more complicated later (when I get time--ha! If only...). John
