RE: [Utah-astronomy] New Image - NGC7050 - The Pelican Nebula in Ha
Joe, Email the images to me and I will combine and process them for you. Or, if you have Photoshop, I can talk you through it. Let me know. Cheers, Tyler ____________________________ Joe said: <Many thanks, Tyler. I took a nice view of a galaxy and made the final print by first combining the colors, then making a final version. I'll go back and try it the other way. I can take a luminosity photo by using the "clear filter" option in my SBIG's color wheel. But I don't know how to combine it with the color data.>
I'd appreciate that greatly, Tyler. I am trying to post the best version I could get, if I can make the uploader work. But if you would like to take a look at the raw files, I'd be anxious for you to try. I'll send them to you when I have the files in front of me -- they're at home but I need to go home for a while anyway. I chose what I thought were the best three blue, the best three red and the best three green, and combined them separately, then made a color image. Thanks again, Joe
Hi Tyler, I had to go home a short time ago and I grabbed a CD of my astro photos so I could send you the files. Unfortunately, the raw files I was looking for weren't on this one. So I will email them to you tomorrow. Many thanks, Joe
