I have a friend that attended the Burning Man this year. He has been showing us pictures and talking about the setup for a couple of weeks now. He said that it looks like the picture was taken on Weds and that the "camps" appear to be only half full. It sounds like a real big event. He did mention that the art has a lot of embedded lights so that they can be seen so I guess it probably isn't a good astronomy outing. The pictures he showed us of the people showering behind the water trucks where especially interesting. I was just sent this image of _part_ of last week's Burning Man. Or was it the Astronomical League conference? :-) http://www.aros.net/~jjm/bm05/slides/IMGP1804.html Patrick _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.utahastronomy.com
