The Salt Lake Astronomical Society hopes to encourage an interest in astronomy whether or not a person is a member of the group. We've instituted a policy under which anyone who wishes will get an email notification of the availability of NOVA, our excellent newsletter, which comes out every other month. It's chock-full of articles, club doings and plans, interviews, photographs and other tasty material. The notification will provide a link to the newsletter, which be read online or printed out at home, at no charge and with no need to join the Society, though we'd love to have you. Simply surf to http://slas.us/ and click on the link to subscribe to the "Friends of SLAS notification list." Also, previous and current copies of the newsletter are posted on the homepage, which anyone can peruse. Thanks, Joe
Thanks Joe. Does Patrick still send out an astro-news summary, for SLAS members only? Just curious. I miss getting those. /R From: Joe Bauman via Utah-Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, May 11, 2017 12:05 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] NOVA newsletter The Salt Lake Astronomical Society hopes to encourage an interest in astronomy whether or not a person is a member of the group.
