I guess the nearest place with appreciably warmer winter temps is the St. George area? Craig
That's probably the warmest, but I suspect the Moab area would be a little warmer than northern Utah. I know snow on the red rocks is a somewhat unusual happening. We usually hook up with Debbie (a member of this list). She is checking out some new sites for our February session. Another option is to go out to Fort Pearce, which is where we have gone the last few years. The issue with it is that we have had some 4X4 traffic out there so we are looking for a better place. I can get you some directions if you want them. One place I was thinking of exploring was a BLM campground between Virgin and Springdale that I read about. Not sure if it's worth looking into. I may not make it down this month as my family isn't interested in going, but we'll see. On Wed, Jan 6, 2010 at 8:08 AM, Dunn, David <David.Dunn@supervalu.com>wrote:
