I followed the link to your website and found four pictures. They were all of the same pictograph, with a close up of a horizontal, thick, wavy line (equal guess would have been a snake) and three long, thin, unconnected lines going horizontal next to a large humanoid (one guess a shaman, could have been a chief, or maybe the head of household) figure. My initial reaction was, if it was a comet, why wasn't it depicted above the humanoid - suggesting up in the sky. Joe's suggestion that it's rain coming out of the clouds, imho, has stronger validity, although I don't necessarily think that is what is is either. The three thin lines are between the humanoid and another picture. The images may not be connected at all. Why do you think is is a comet?
Joan, That’s the pictograph from 7-Mile Wash that you saw. Look at the next set from Hell Roaring Canyon. Didn’t my link go to my “sets” page? Be aware Joan, I’m a bozo when it comes to linking pages and such. The Hell Roaring Canyon pictograph looks very comet-like and has three tails. These sites are only about 8 miles apart as the crow flies. The shaman looks eerily familiar if you look at both sets. You and Joe are very likely correct. I just threw it out as something to think about. Take a look at the Hell Roaring photos. Dave On Sep 11, 2013, at 5:42 PM, jcarman6@q.com wrote:

Did you see the pic of the Head of Sinbad petroglyph, Joan? It seems to be the same concept, but to me these objects look much more like a pair of rain clouds than two many-tailed comets.
