Scott used to office in the World Trade Center. I remember panicking on 9-11, and was relieved when I got his email that he had moved to Japan before the attack. Alexi Leonov owns a model of the Apollo-Soyuz vehicles linked together, that I gave him in '77. I'll show you the newspaper article at the next L&O meeting, along with his autograph (and all the ASTP crew members), if interested
About 15 years ago, I sent Scott a copy of the Hards family registry. At the time, there were fewer than 2,000 Hards households in the entire world. All descended from the same medieval English clan. He forwarded it to his parents, who he said just loved it. Time to shoot him another email. Funny. With over 6 billion people on the planet, it's still a very small world. :-)
Speaking of L & O, is it time for another gut check? (pun intended). Chuck, ask Dan about the radio antenna he put on a WWII jeep he has shown. 73 On 10/5/2012 3:08 PM, Chuck Hards wrote:

No doubt you were the technical advisor on the antenna, Larry, and I'm sure it was perfect! L&O this month sounds great! Gotta lay-in the calories for winter, lol. Start a new subject line and let's get some consensus on a date. On Oct 5, 2012 4:00 PM, "Larry Holmes" <larry@kijoda.com> wrote:

OK, you Epicurians and followers of Bacchanalian revelry (really, at the Left Fork?), it is time for another gathering of the Clan of L & O. You unfortunates who do not partake can join in the festivities also, just don't rock the boat when the starws of the show are presented for our dining pleasure. How about 10/20? That should fuel those going to SPOC for the last scheduled star party. Any Partakers? Caretakers? Undertakers? Who knows? Could be in that order! 73 On 10/5/2012 4:12 PM, Chuck Hards wrote:
