Touching story about a bucket list
Saw this just a short time ago. The picture of a little girl looking through a telescope with the possibility of going blind in the near future. Sad. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/parents-give-daughter-5-visual-bucket-list-... Tom Sevcik
Some on this board might remember Mike Huben. He is in one of Patrick's older than dirt pictures. I met him when he was about 17. He had a C-8 and knew a heck of lot more about the sky than I did. He is roasted on the "bald mountain tape" for talking about 17-18th magnitude galaxies as seen through his C-8. "You can't see them, but they are there." He is now a professor of mathematics and legally blind. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thomas Sevcik" <sfv1ts@hotmail.com> To: "SLAS astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, July 31, 2015 9:42:44 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Touching story about a bucket list Saw this just a short time ago.
