Interesting, thanks! I did not know that. My last time at Sambos came late one night when we sat down after a sci-fi club meeting, and after 2 hours still didn't get served. We left and never returned. I think shortly after that, they disappeared from SLC.
I remember in the late 50's-early 60's that my parents often chose Sambo's when we were on the road. Predictable quality and low prices. What can I say - my Dad was a school teacher and we were on a budget.
