Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. There is still a ray of hope that Companion will survive, we've been right to the wire before and managed to pull back from the brink. We have several large contracts that are all but signed; for some reason most clients have delayed their programs from their original dates (Sept. 11 & recession, no doubt) and that has spoiled our plans for the first quarter of this year. When I started with this company, there were only 20 employees. Over the years, we reached almost 300 at our peak in the mid-nineties, now down below 100 again. If we have to, we'll downsize again, and I can hope that I will be valued enough to be retained. Good luck to Cynthia as well. Cyn, I hope things work out in your favor also. I tell myself that it's only a job, jobs come and go. That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger! I'll still be checking this email account through the end of next week. Chuck
