Even with the clouds? Or was that a Salt Lake valley thing? Congrats. Any photos? There were some clouds but I'm guessing it was better than in the SL Valley. No one tried to take pictures. Just having too much fun looking at the comet. I was expecting nothing more than a small coma so spent much of my time just looking through the main scope but happened to look through the finder and there it was. Very easy even in that. And, as I said earlier, really nice through the main scope. Certainly not naked eye this evening. *Maybe* if there had been no clouds but I rather doubt it. There were several of us out there and it was funny how once the comet was in the scope all the pushing and shoving to get a view. Not nearly as good as West or Hale-Bopp but still a nice little comet and the best we've had for a few years. I am planning on being at SPOC again the next two evenings from 7 to 8ish to practice finding the comet for Wednesday's public Comet Watch. Everyone's welcome to join me. I'm also planning a Refractor Refresher/Level 1 for before Wednesday's Comet Watch from 5 to 6. Folks wishing to attend should RSVP to make sure there's room. patrick Sent from my iPad On Mar 10, 2013, at 20:58, Dion Davidson <diondavidson@yahoo.com> wrote:

Patrick, I need the refresher but just getting there by 6 may be pushing it, so if I'm not there by 5, please give my slot to someone else and dont wait on me. On Mar 10, 2013 11:55 PM, "Fletcher Gross" <gross@math.utah.edu> wrote:
