Monday night I tried for Wolf Creek. At sunset it was cold and cloudy, the only cloudy spot in the entire state. When a howling wind came up I decided to try the gravel quarry. On the way out I passed a herd of a thousand sheep heading for where I would have been set up. I don't think I'll go back to Wolf Creek this year.
