Pluto: Can you find it
I got a 15 second shot of Pluto last evening and again this evening to show Pluto's apparent motion. http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=68&g2_page=3 Quite a difference from year's ago when I used the same scope to image Pluto on film. That time the exposure was 60 minutes (I think that photograph is out at SPOC somewhere). patrick
Hi Patrick, it "stood out" for me instantly when I looked at it by free-basing 3-D viewing. Congratulations! What a nice shot. -- Joe --- On Mon, 9/28/09, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote: From: Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Pluto: Can you find it To: "utah astronomy listserve utah astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Date: Monday, September 28, 2009, 10:19 PM I got a 15 second shot of Pluto last evening and again this evening to show Pluto's apparent motion. http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=68&g2_page=3 Quite a difference from year's ago when I used the same scope to image Pluto on film. Hey, you're right. I had not thought of that. Pops right out. Ken's animation makes finding it way too easy... <grin> patrick On 29 Sep 2009, at 12:48, Joe Bauman wrote:
