Just as an aside, you may want to check in with your local public safety dispatch office (9-1-1)and make sure they know where SPOC is. For Tooele Co, the non emergency # is 435-882-5600. Working here at Valley Emergency Communications Center,( we do 9-1-1 dispatch for most of Salt Lake County) as the address data base manager, if we took a call from somebody and they told us #15 Plaza, we would be stuck. On the other hand, we have the ability to create an 'alias' so if somebody gives us a common name, we have a look up table for an actual address. For example, that restaurant nearby probably has an actual address, or the park does. You could mimic either of those. Great suggestion, Joe. Thanks. Siegfried, Bruce, anyone? Do we know if this has ever been done? Makes sense also 'cause we're touting our "accessible" status.
