http://smithplanet.com/astro/solarsystem/solar/annular/finalSmall.jpg Had a great time this evening watching the eclipse in Cache Valley! About 200 people (many of whom I didn't even know) cycled through my yard looking through the telescopes. I had to fight them off to get photos every 15 minutes or so. I'll post some more detailed photos tomorrow. Jared
I've updated my site with several eclipse photos including an updated version of the composition image - http://smithplanet.com/astro/solarsystem/solar/#annular Someone requested a large print of it. I have never done this, but could look into it if others are interested. I've posted a full quality version on the site if anyone wants to print their own. I'm pretty happy with the sun-spot and surface detail quality, despite the thin clouds and taking little time to focus each time I threw my camera on the telescope. What an amazing, memorable event!
