SLAS/OAS/UVAA Star-B-Que/Swap meet Aug.18
If attending, is there a co-ordinator for the food, or are folks just bringing whatever for a true "pot-luck"? What will the policy be if the general public shows-up before the star-party itself? I'm trying to either talk my girls into attending or just coming solo. We'll see.

Ya know, I don't think anyone thought of that. Do we really need a coordinator? If we do the natural first choice would be Ann of course. Bob? Ann? You're both on the list. What say ye?

Guy said something about claymores around the perimeter... :) But seriously, chances are that wont be much of a problem as the dinner starts two hours before it gets dark and public usually don't show up that early.

I've a feeling folks like you Chuck (ATMs) are going to want to be there. Both Bruce and Roger have said they are already cleaning out their garages and those that were at SPOC for last night's star party got a sneak preview of some stuff that's already been moved out there for the swap meet. pw
I'm not going to acquire anything but may have some stuff to unload. For the past several years I've been only buying hardware if immediately needed for a current project. No more hoarding against a possible future need. The future is now. Thanks for the reply! On 8/5/07, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote:
