NASA will host a media teleconference at 11 a.m. MST tomorrow, the 15th, to provide an update about MSL's mission to Mars. For reasons I don't understand, as with similar recent events they will not be airing it on NASA TV where more people would be able to see it. However, recent Mars telecons have been showing up on USTREAM at the following URL. Hopefully tomorrow's event will find its way there too. http://www.ustream.tv/new/explore/technology/all?subCategory=technology-scie... patrick
Pretty interesting, thanks for the heads-up Patrick. I wish I could understand more of what Nicholas Mangold was saying. Between his accent and the poor quality of the streaming audio, I missed about 2/3 of what he said. On Mon, Jan 14, 2013 at 6:33 PM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:

Sorry to hear the live feed wasn't very good Chuck. Fortunately the archived version is quite good. And includes images that might make a geologist salivate (Rodger?). http://www.ustream.tv/new/explore/technology/all?subCategory=technology-scie... patrick BTW, has anyone seen the real Rodger lately? There was a guy running last evening's SLAS meeting that claimed to be he but he was not wearing the official "hat-of-office" so I'm guessing he was an impostor. :) On 15 Jan 2013, at 13:00, Chuck Hards wrote:
