Nice shots Dave. Could you add some details to the caption? Stuff like what scope, camera and exposures you used? patrick On 02 Dec 2013, at 08:41, Dave Gary <davegary@me.com> wrote:

Thanks for the details. Interesting that such nice shots were taken through such a small diameter scope. BTW, what became of the ST-237? Cheers, patrick On 02 Dec 2013, at 18:02, Dave Gary <davegary@me.com> wrote:

Dave
I still have the ST-237. I hook it up sometimes to the old 10-inch and use the old laptop with the serial port to run it. It’s sort of like fiddling with an old TV with antenna-reception (you have to play around with it just to convince yourself you still have the touch). That sounded slightly pornographic. Anyway, that’s not the problem. What’s hard is dealing with that laptop. Man, it’s slow. I yell at it and give it the finger, but it won’t kick it up a notch no matter how much I try to shame it. I can’t believe that piece of junk was fast in its day. However, I won’t junk it. I look at it and then I look at me and I think, ‘man, we’re a lot alike.' I still have my Mac Color Classic (I think that ST-237 will even work with that) and it runs like a champ. I don’t yell at it, though.
