What a great morning for eclipse viewing! It was a very pleasant outside and even the clouds couldn't ruin my good mood. I went to my usual perch on Wasatch Blvd about 4500 south. Arriving just after first contact, I observed a significant halo, but enjoyed watching it disappear as the moon sunk lower in the sky and finally dipped beneath the edge of the cloud lines. Also interesting to me was watching the partially-eclipsed moon setting behind the Oquirrhs. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4205546296349.2182779.1215656729&t... -- Chrismo I fix things, all kinds of things... Nice, Chris. I forgot all about the partial lunar eclipse. Sadly, no pictures, except for yours. Good job. Dave On Jun 4, 2012, at 7:15 AM, Chrismo wrote:

Thanks! I'm lucky to have the time for this kind of stuff. These were taken at my buddy's house, who declined my offer to join me at 4 am, something having to "get up and go to work" later - whatever that means. On Mon, Jun 4, 2012 at 7:22 AM, Dave Gary <davegary@me.com> wrote:

I was off, today. I just forgot. Such is the price for getting older. Someday, I’ll forget where the front door is located. Dave

We were lucky to see the entire lunar eclipse here in Hawaii. Easy, too - midnight to 2 am. I'll put up photos after I'm done laying around the pool... Dion Davidson On Jun 4, 2012, at 8:39 PM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote:
