I checked the SLAS site, someone has the refractor reserved, the individual did not indicate public welcome, doubt people would actually be turned away but probably best to say SLAS has no plans to open SPOC.
I imagine the H-alpha filter is going south. Folks are asking us here if SPOC will be open and looking at the eclipse
on Sunday.
