RE: [Utah-astronomy] Bunny Redux
I'm all in favor of attachments. Please, however, also include a short explanation so that we know it was intended and not some kind of worm, virus, or other unwanted bug. I've seen perhaps 15 or 20 emails lately that simply said, "See the attached file," or "Your file is attached." They usually come from someone I don't know, so deleting them is a no-brainer. However, some spammers have been successful having their spam sent under someone else's email address. -----Original Message----- From: Cynthia Blue [mailto:cynweb@cynthiablue.net] Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2004 2:51 PM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Bunny Redux So what's the concensus.. should we disallow attachments to the list? I'm pretty sure it can be done. I get some spam myself anymore with those darn attachments that I just delete. Fortunately most of them are Windows, and my Linux computer just doesnt care about them anyway. LOL. I'll have a look at turn off attachments if peeps prefer.
