Re: [Utah-astronomy] What about this article
http://www.seekfind.net/Amazing_Facts/Is_There_A_Quick_Explanation_Of_Why_Ev... Yikes is right. There's not much on this site that isn't an absolute lie. I particularly love using the second law of thermodynamics. I've never heard any evolutionist argue against the reality of entropy. Of course, real entropy takes a long, long time in a closed system. The biosphere is hardly a closed system and receives plenty of new energy from the sun--there's an astronomy tie-in. Of course, what the creationists have mastered is wearing you down by the sheer weight of horse-poop they put out. In the end, scientists want to go off and do some meaningful science. It's awfully scary to think these people have DNA of their own. It's even scarier to think that sometimes they combine it.
I'd like to take credit for the following quote, but it was originally spoken about a similar website, and I couldn't help but draw the same conclusion: "To call it a simmering soup of madness would be to misjudge the density of soup. This site is a towering pyramid of madness bullion cubes." Holy crap, I've never seen so many flagrant, outrageous lies and distortions strung together in one place! That is just downright scary. --- Michael Carnes <michaelcarnes@earthlink.net> wrote:
