Also, over at the Utah Astronomy Club site on Facebook we’ve been posting beautiful astrophotos and discussing matters as varied as astrology vs. astronomy, best telescopes for beginners, a small company planning to land a lunar probe, the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn on Dec. 21, the recent collapse of the great Arecibo radio telescope, the Sun’s rotation – and many other topics.

The group has 642 members at last count and we have a lot fun. We have no fees or other dues, and intend to resume face-to-face meetings when it’s safe. Those who aren’t yet members are invited to surf over to our Facebook page and ask to join – nearly all are accepted.
