Disregard my question about which Harmons. I see the Harmons being discussed is the one in Utah county. Tasco/Celestron woes: http://SkyandTelescope.com/news/current/article_618_1.asp Patrick

http://SkyandTelescope.com/news/current/article_618_1.asp I still shudder when I think about Tasco's acquisition of Celestron. It should be a sin to utter the two names in the same sentence. It's like Yugo owning Porsche... C. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! - Official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com
Yugo is fair, but Porche? I don't think so. Maybe more like Chevrolet. Brent --- Chuck Hards <chuckhards@yahoo.com> wrote:

I knew that would bring you out, Brent! ;) So, a C5 is like what, a Chevette, while the C14 is a 3/4 ton pick-up truck? Then who is Porsche, BMW, or Mercedes? TEC, maybe? JMI? Roland Christen? And are us atm's building dune-buggy kit cars in the garage? Soapbox derby? (homemade finders = Pinewood derby...) C. --- Brent Watson <brentjwatson@yahoo.com> wrote:

The Chevette sounds good, and the C14 - Maybe more like a Caprice or full size Impalla of old. A pickup truck is too reliable and utilitarian.

Honda = Takahashi Porche = Cerevolo BMW = Roland Christen Mercedes = Zeiss

ATM's are all hand built and purpose made - like the Rolls Royces and Bentleys of the world. Maybe a limo. Some just lack a bit of attention to detail.
