Rich's post brings up the subject of vision correction procedures. Have any list members had LASIK? Has it had an effect on your night vision, or visual acuity at the eyepiece? Comments?
I had the lense replacement surgery. Colors are true now (didn't know they weren't before). No more glasses at all, ever. Does take a bit of getting used to, but that only lasts for a week or two. 20/15 vision now. It was expensive, and I chickened out once before getting it done. Now, if I had to do it again, I would at the drop of a hat. Painless, and not nearly as bad as a comprehensive eye exam. They did mine two weeks apart, and I couldn't wait to get the second eye done after the first turned out so well.
